rune factory problemo

    i tried to download rune factory on flashgot, a download manager, which reached 93% and then stopped. I then tried to download it using the default, winrar but then after a while a window pops up labeled "Download Error" says "C:\DOCUME~1\FFFFFH~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\1330 - Rune Factory A Fantasy Harvest Moon (U)(Xenophobia).rar could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences."

    winrar isnt a download application, it is a file archiving tool. You need to download it completely, then open it with winrar.

    well it says WinRar (Default) right above Flashgot when the window for download comes up. So if not winrar then what else because the rest of my downloads winrar worked

    Never mind i just used a different browser and it worked.

    it works in firefox, just select 'save this file to...'. The 'open with winrar' option will download it to a temporary location, and open it in winrar. Once you close winrar, the file will be deleted. This option is most often used with documents.
