Rune Factory 2 issue on DSTT

Ok, so, I'm having an issue with Rune Factory 2 on my DSTT. It loads fine, and even seems to play fine, but there is a major issue--friendship and love points are not being calculated. Which is a problem.

Basically, I do all the tier 1 quests, but then I'm stuck and never get any new ones because which quests you get are based on friendship and love points.

Unless a new YSMenu has been released in the past month and a half or so, then I should have the most up-to-date version.

Anyone have any ideas?

 

Hm. I can't seem to find anything about it online. I can find one mention that there was a critcal bug that prevented story progression for some people, but there was no explanation or anything useful, and I can't find any further sources.

 

It's most likely it's not YSMenu that is the problem.

 

Do you talk to the people every day and give them gifts and stuff? It can take awhile before you get any points. =/

 

Hmmm, mine works fine. Try giving diamonds, emaralds, lots of shiny stones to Ceci(Cecilia). In theory, she will get one friend and heart point sooner or later. Dont worry, i only got the points at like day 10-15.

 

Yeah, this definately isn't a technical problem. It's an in-game "need to get married and produce a child" problem. I hear Dorothy's pretty easy, since all you have to do is give her Char, which can be fished up in the middle (two screens up) of Blessia Island.
