Hi, I am new to PC games ^^, I just downloaded a game on this website here: https://www.romulation.org/NDS/4812_-_Hakuouki_DS_(J)(BAHAMUT).rar.html/#details. I downloaded it, and I actually looked up on the net and try to find a way to open the NDS file, and then, I downloaded a programm called NDS emulator, and tried to run the game, but it didn't work T____T. I really want to play the game so I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how to actually run the game ? Thanks a lot,
Read this: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=1462.0 Download No$GBA 2.6a and No$Zoomer, it is an NDS Emulator.
Warning: emulators these says or EXTREMELY poor, and quite advanced. So are the flash carts. NDS games are NOT pc games. I recommend you try something else...
Thank you so much for trying to help I downloaded both No$GBA 2.6a and No$Zoomer, and then ran them together, and it still didn't work.... What should I do now ?? T______T Thanks again,
Try using the full package. http://www.mediafire.com/?0tmrvozm0gm Run No$zoomer, and select the game that you wanted to play.
@meganova: Thanks for trying to help and even uploaded the whole package *bow* but sadly, it still didn't work T_____T. May be I should give up....
No, credit to the person(Jhon) who are kindly enough to upload the full package for us. Can you tell us what's wrong with it? like an error message after you load it, or black screen, etc. etc.
Please read http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=1736.0 Try using DeSmuME if you can't get it to work with NO$GBA. http://desmume.org/
Sorry, I am new here so don't know how to ask a question properly ^^;... This is what happens after i try to run it: Spoiler It has been like that for hours... I downloaded the DeSmuME....but I couldn't find the application file ....
You could try to encryipt a copy of your rom and load it up though GBA Bios like this EDIT: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=39364.msg732801#msg732801 eveythink inside of the .rar file should be in the one folder , I was just wondering about the two gray screens....
"With no$gba 2.6a encryipt a copy of your game using eNDryptS Advanced " OK, I downloaded the eNDrypts Advanced , but how to use it to encryipt a cope a the game ? ^^; (Thanks for trying to help
Put your rom in the same folder as eNDrypts Advanced , run the eNDrypts Advanced program , press 1 on keybord and wait for it to be done only takes a few secs, then your rom is done
I put the game(.NDS) into the eNDrypts Adanced folder and pressed 1, then it created something called atchEngine.tx1..... I have a feeling that I will never be able to play it ^^;
Don't worry about the PatchEngine.dat , did you try the game again with no$gba set in gba bios (nintendo logo) mode ? Post Merge: [time]1271796093[/time] OMG, I can not be-leave the size of that game 512 MB
YEAH~~~~~~~ It works!!!!!!!!!! ^3^ Jhon, you are my saviour!!!!!! <3 Thank you so much for helping me I am really excited to play my first otome game( or even my first "PC" game ^^) now!!!!!(even though I only know a bit of japanese ^^;, hope I can still manage it play it ... BTW, Jhon, do you know how to run PS2 emulator ? Is it much more complicated to set up than DS emulator? "OMG, I can not be-leave the size of that game 512 MB" Is it a lot ...compare to other games?? @0@?
PS2 emulators are a lot harder to set up since you need a number of plugins and a BIOS that need to be downloaded and selected from. Your computer needs to be pretty high-spec to run the games as well. It's much easier if you get a package of the emulator and the plugins, but in my experience you need to do a bit of configuring even then. The game support for PS2 games isn't nearly as high as No$zoomer for DS games - many won't work properly.
The game size will increased a lot after you encrypted it. As for the PS2 emulator, it's not complicated to set it up, you only need the right plugins for it, bios, as well a good pc tu run it. I recommend using the PCSX2 emulator, www.pcsx2.net. There are two version of this emulator, 0.9.6 and Beta r1888(as well for linux version). 0.9.6 is a good choice if you have high end pc, while r1888 is good to play PS2 games that have geometrical graphic, like Star Ocean or Front Mission. and Make sure to download the latest plugins pack, update your Direct X, C++, and graphic driver to the latest version.
Your very welcome!, some of the PS2 question has bean anserd, you do need a very good PC for PS2 games A nds rom is between 128 and 256Mb smallest 8mb , It must be one of the first games at 512mb!
