    this would be a bad move. Look at what happened to Sega when they announced the dreamcast before the saturn had peaked.

    My theory is that nintendo is doing some scouting with this specs, they released them to see what their consumers think and monitor the reactions.

    It's actually quite good, it just didn't sell well.
    Most people that have the console enjoy it.

    That's true, it's the only console that really gives me a sense of immersion. And the games are pretty good.
    It ain't about the graphics, it's gameplay that counts.

    And I do hope that nintendo releases a new console, they're the only one of the Big 3 console makers that know how to make people enjoy their consoles.

    Region lock is really only for the pirates.
    The average, legitimate buyer, can (and does) live with region lock.

    And people who like importing niche games can't. There is absolutely no good reason to have a region lock on consoles anymore.

    i think wii u is okay just not enough games to support the console. nintendo suppose to release a console that works/sells, not focusing entirely on performance and stuff. love the old wii and 3ds xl btw.
