DownSouthRambo`s Pokemon Black 2 Challenge Disclaimer: This ruleset is not nearly as demanding as the Nuzlocke set, but it will definitely add more strategy and more of a challenge to your game. For those of you looking to spice up your Pokemon Black 2 journey, continue reading. Backdrop: -Designed for use in Pokemon Black 2 Challenge Mode. (Emulator or AR is a MUST) -Unova region Pokemon are to be used for this challenge. -Battle style will be SET! Gives it more of a Battle Frontier feel. -LEGAL hacks are NOT frowned upon. (EVs, learnable moves, and RELEASED DW abilities are allowed) -If you decide to PokeGen/ PokeSav your team from the beginning, they MUST start at level 5. -Hacked Pokemon CANNOT hold items. Hold items must be found, given, bought in-game. -You can create 7 Pokemon, but 2 of them MUST be HM Slaves. -You CANNOT create a fully-evolved Pokemon. You must level them or find their evolution stone. -You may have up to 2 HM Slaves in your party at any given time. Hm slaves are Pokemon that have 3 or more HMs in their move pool. Rules: -HM Slaves CANNOT be used in battle UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! -You are allowed to heal your Pokemon once per city/ route. (Nurses) -You cannot take 2 or more Pokemon of the same type into battle. EX: A Pikachu and an Electabuzz is illegal, but a Pikachu and an Emolga is ok since it’s only 50% Electric. -NO Pokemon can have moves of the same type in their respective move pools. (Excludes status moves) EX: Pikachu w/ Thunderbolt and Thunder Wave IS legal, but Pikachu w/ Thunderbolt and Thunder IS NOT! -Two or more Pokemon CANNOT have DAMAGING moves of the same type. (HMs excluded) EX: If one Pokemon has Brick Break NO OTHER Pokemon can have a DAMAGING Fighting type move. However, if one Pokemon has an HM, another Pokemon can have a move of that type. -Only 3 Pokemon can be used VS a gym leader. Others need to be placed in your PC or simply not used. -You are allowed to catch 1 Pokemon in grass/ tall grass and 1 Pokemon by surfing or fishing per route. -Legendaries, Haxorus, and Base-600 Pokemon ARE NOT ALLOWED! You can catch them, but that’s it! What Happens If I Break A Rule? -Whenever you break any of the rules, you have to reset immediately and start over from your last save point.
