What is a good action RPG based game for nintendo DS, games where you can walk up to the monster and attack them not turned based games. thanks :]

DQ 9 is turn based. I tend to ignore Rings of crap exists, and i forgot about echoes of time and rings of crap, echoes is definitely a lot better.

Lufia: Rise of the Sinistrals? Not as good as the original.. but Besides thatm +1 for sylar1000 list. Radiant Historia as well. but so far only in japanese.
It's not turn based. it's an action-adventure game. The ambiance though is similar to mario. Fun relaxing game. How about Avalon Code, Soma Bringer and Lunar Knights. Can't wait for this game to arrive!
most RPG based games comes out with turn based, there's only a few with action adventure with good storyline, you should check gamefaqs,, that would be easier
