Rosetta stone EPIC fail...dunno what i should do!

I just purchased rosetta stone yesterday, and finally installed it...well..when i start it, i get the following problem which i give a screenshot for because i'm unable to describe it >.>



so, what i did was, i contacted customer support...and guess what they told me!!!! they told me my copy of Rosetta stone if fucking pirated! i'm thinking, pirated my ass! i just bought it at staples! so what should i do now? staples won't take it back because it's opened, and i'm sure as hell not gonna buy another copy...is there any way to fix this?!?!

 

I recommend contacting customer support again.
Do you still have your receipt?

Also: for future reference http://www.livemocha.com/ is pretty much rosetta stone but free.

 

Hey there has to be some sort of ID or serial number on the box... Maybe you can tell that to Customer Support.

 

there was, that's what i gave them, and they told me it's pirated ??? so how the hell does a new out of the box program have a pirated serial?!?!

that seems to be blocked by peerblock..... it works fine when i disable the adware block though >.>

 

-someone may of used the serial
-Might of been swapped
-CHeck back to place of purchase
-Find a crack to make it work as is

 

1. it was on the inside, so how?
2. it was unopened, so how?
3. already did, they won't exchange it.
4. i tried that after it failed epically, no luck.

 

threaten to sue the people who sold you a pirated rosetta stone.

 

you really expect me to sue a massive company? staples is like the office warehouse...

 

well at least complain to the manager, you could make some pimply faced kid lose his job over it

 

Well, that sucks. I just have an acquired copy that a friend gave me.
