Rom not working on Ds

Hey guys, for some reason when i try to start the game (Mario and sonic inter games) it says data corrupt or something like that and keeps takin me bak to the start screen, any1 know whats going on with my R4?

This happens to me with bowser inside stories as well, maybe im doin something wrong? The only thing i change is the name of the rom thats it, and other roms still work once i have changed the name.

Oh i see does that mean most new games will incorporate that to prevent roms?And im sry i also didnt see the stickys, should they work by following the instructions on the stiky threads?
