I'm not sure what to call them, because I'm not sure what they are, but I'd really like to see an explanation of the ROM info thingies somewhere. And by info thingies I mean [h2C] [!] and the like. Also, what are they?
they're tags. (U) means US region (E) means Europe (NOT English, as most people assume) and (J) means Japan. There are loads of others and not all are region codes.
Hi, one thing that's not covered by the tutorial that was attached - that I have a question about, is the name that's listed after the Region info. Is that the creator of the file? Some names I see often on several games, just wondering who these people are? I'm sure they are other gamers, but just wondering why I see their names so often? Thanks.
that is the name of the release group that produced the dump. The exception is (Ind) which means independent, or someone not affiliated with a release group.
