rom help

Hi. here is the deal. whenever i load up these roms the work for about 10 seconds then freeze:

Tony hawk's American sk8land (any version)
Tony hawk's downhill jam(any version)
ultimate spider-man (any version)

i am on an r4
please help

i have tried that before but thanks anyway . i will use Apocalyptica's way for now

 

This is odd, every game works on my R4DS.. What type of R4 do you have?

 

i have r4 v2(without spring slot) and I'm on firmware v1.18

 

Oooh I think you have a real one, I have a fake. I'm on firmware v1.23.

 

It's still a clone. Make sure to read the Common Issues linked above (particularly on freezing problems in this case).

 

.....hey have you tryed buying a edge card coz i heard they are really good.

 

Buying a new flashcart isn't exactly the most efficient solution.

 

I agree and by the way to Anandjones or anyone else who thinks i have a fake r4 i don't. i checked

 

Dude, he knows his stuff.

clones and fakes are different-fakes die faster, clones have different names-but not as trust worthy.

I think EVERYONE should stay clear of the r4 brand until they have the real team-everyone is cashing in on the name of it because it was legendary back in the day...now it's hard to trust...

BTW-acekard works well, but your card may stil be able to work...but we have no idea how to work-we focus on the real carts here mostly..sorry dude.

 

Then my card must be legendary... I play it nearly every day...

 

hey read the common issues
reformat the card again
download these games again
if these do not work buy an acekard

 

R4 is just a clone of M3 Simply.

 

Other way around, but either way it makes no difference.

 

I say EDge is good i hav it its like a cyclods card i got my edge in filipines in green hillsstore

 

yeah i think edge is good too... i never had a problem using edge...

 

i use ezvi never had problems with that

 

is your r4 clean? are the contacts clean? are the contacts from your ds clean? if it is, wich extention do you have? (like (U) or (XenoPhobia))
