Rom description query... what do [h1] [h2] [!] etc mean

I looked at the different forum sections and wasn't 100% sure where to post this, so please excuse me if I got it wrong.

My question is with regard to the Megadrive/Genesis roms I'm downloading.

In the game title they have little 'tags' after them like [t1] [h1] [h2] [h3] [!] etc. Can someone please enlighten me about their meaning so that I can choose which version of a game I want.

they are translations and hack versions of the game (from what i'm aware of)

just delete them

 

Thanks Usoppu, and I will delete them once downloaded, I'm just wondering if there are several versions if one is better than another? ie. is [h3] better in some way than [h1] and if either of them are better or worse than [t1] or [!].
