Rivalry:Sonic or Mario

For me, I really prefer Mario, since he was in the first game I ever played...and thats about it...

 

Mario is an overweight, creepy Italian plumber who gets his kicks from jumping on turtles
and sliding down sewage pipes....

Sonic is a really fast, cool blue hedgehog....

I don't like neither, I would probably have to say Mario since he was in one of the first games I had ever played.

 

Mario, although extremely fun is way overrated.

I love sonic and always have, sonic for the win!

 

mario suks...i never like him...something about him make me piss off.....

so Sonic > Mario = facts

 

Mario = Stupid = Funny

I prefer both, I had a super nes and a Sega genises at the same time when I was a kid, I never liked one over the other, they both have their own unique quality to them.

 

I'm a sonic fan (not a fanboy. Just a fan)

I like mario too, but there's something about sonic that I like more.

I like mario better. His game are way better. With Sonic, I feel that all you have to do is hold the forward button and jump a couple of times, it goes way to fast for my eyes too. Thats why I like Mario.

 

Mario: Fat, Italian, Plumber, From the Mushroom Kingdom. Yet he jumps and runs fast and turns into very many diffrent forms: Regualr - Super - Fire - Raccoon - Bunny - Bee - Etc

Sonic: Origins unkown, Faster than Mario, Has the same blue form in every one of his games and is a hedgehog.....

Yea but, what, in 1 game? Even still thats only 2 forms. Sonic games are great, agreed, I just like Mario better. And Sonic never was a doctor, or tennis player, or golfer, ect. Mario has more variety.

 

Mario's games are better but I still like Sonic somehow, especially in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games. Sonic looks cooler!

 

And he has batter stats...but I like Mario, because he can control fire, he was a doctor, he was a fox, he was a bumblebee, and more, most of all, he has a friend, not a pat, that is a dragon..lizard thingy, and his name translation is said like: YOSH!

 

well, if it was a fight...I'll just list the pro's

Sonic

Extremely fast
abilities are spin and dash

Mario

can shoot fireballs
good with a wrench (hes a plumber)

As much as getting hit with a fireball would kill you, I don't see Mario even being able to SEE Sonic

 

Sonic can run away with very fast

Mario can't run because he's fat

So i choose Sonic The Blue Hedgehog ;D

 

I started off on them both but I have to go with sonic, he has speed strength and skills, mario lacks the speed so he would lose easily

 

Sonic is cool, but there are a lot more better Mario games.
