Am I the only one that can's get 3499 Rittai Picross to run. DS Lite with M3 Real.

Every time I just get two white screens.

I have tried the last 3 versions of the M3 firmware.

I have reformatted the memory card.

Every other game I have tried has run without problem, this is the only one I've tried that won't work. I've tried it with and without the GBA expansion pack.

    Anyone got any ideas?

have you got the "soft reset" option on? if so, turn it off.

I had similar issues with that happening with other games.

No - all on the default settings.

Yes - I did look there first but as it is only this one file that causes a problem wondered if other were also 'suffering' in the same way. So I'll have a play with the ARM7 and DLDI patching and see if I get anywhere. Mind you there are another 3500 things that do seem to work fine, so even if I don't get anywhere I should have enough to keep me amused.

    DLDI is for homebrew only.

    OK. Problem solved.

I thought I had the latest version of the firmware (v39) but have just seen there is a newer update (v40). Use that and of course it works.

Sorry for being an idiot - but it does show how important to check that you are using the latest firmware. I'm off to the naughty step!
