Ripping DS video?

    Hey, guys, I'm new here and have a newb question for everybody. ^^

    Is there any way to rip cut scenes from a DS rom? I've seen DSlazy, but the problem with that is I have a Mac :/ If it helps, the game I'm most interested in extracting video from is the latest Japanese Professor Layton game, Saigo no Jikan Ryokou.

    I've also seen that the videos ripped from the DS are .vx format or something similar to that. Is there anyway to convert those into something more useful like .avi?

    I have no idea about converting the files but maybe you could just use an emulator and record it?
