WHat tools would I need to do this?

I wish to add these to my ipod/psp (and share with my mates...they always send them back with marks on the disc :( )

I have that red kawa app but...I find it annoying.

Would dvd shrink/dvd decrypter be of any help here?

Just need what programs to use, and some simple instructions.

DVD Decrypter is what you'll need to use to rip the DVD. Pretend it's like IMGBurn, it is very similar in interface. DVD Shrink would only be useful if you wanted to then burn the DVD film on a 4.7GB DVD-R Disc.

As for playing these video clips on your PSP, you'll probably need a video converter of some sort. I think Total Video Converter and/or Xilisoft Video Converter both had the option for you to convert straight to PSP and ipod video converter. Both need registering, but a quick search on the net or even youtube will find youa quick keygen code.

I thought one of the 2 I have would be it, but I forgot...

How do I do this...I'm still learning the functions.

As for conversion, I have that red kawa app, I'm better using it offline (it needs net access to work best...annoying) and with a pre-made avi I'd be happy.

So how do I rip the movie to the format, making iso's is good but...just the movie on the go is all that's required (plus most of these are dual layer'd movies-they take alot of space)?

DVD Decrypter will not create an ISO file once finished ripping the DVD Film. It will instead rip it's video files instead.

Once the video files have been ripped, you can then do whatever you like with them. Such as convert it to any video format that suites you.

DVD Shrink burns through Nero-and Nero is shit.

And Randy-I told you what you needed for sticking Movies onto your PSP.It rips them down to about 300mb.

    Doh= HANDBRAKE.

    And which option is this?

I've been ripping iso's with dycrpter.

    This I already knew :)

Except the handbrake, will keep this in mind.

2 x things if you use Handbrake:-

1.Run the movie through Decrypter and set it to "dont split files"-as you want it continuous.
2.Set the quality slider to about 80%.
