I just downloaded a NES, SNES and Game Gear emulators onto my cyclods.

I was really young when all of those were new and what not, so I'm kind of clueless on all of those gaming systems. I do have vague memories playing the game gear and NES...but thats about it.

anyways, what are some good games for those systems that HAVE NOT been remade, I feel like if a games been remade id be more interested in playing the remake. I want to get some games to play that i missed out on.

I am willing to play the original games even if they have been remade if someone strongly recommends it or whatever.

thanks a bunch in advanced ;D

Zombies ate my Neighbors, megaman x games up to 3, and secret of mana and Seiken Densetsu 3 are the ones that immediately come to mind.

Hrm, I found some of the older games played better than the newer versions, take contra (probotector) for example-unless you got number 4 on ds XD

Hrm, I would suggest...man it's hard to choose...

The original ninja gaiden series-if you don't have the xbox one that had those as unlockables-gameplay has changed too much from the originals so I count them as different games :)

Just don't bother with 3-on nesds (which I assume your using with nes games since it was the only one I could get to work) it fails to load enemy sprites-you can get hit by them but you can't see/hurt them :(

There is a snes one that has all 3 of them on it (ninja gaiden trilogy) but I couldn't rememer how that worked on the snes emulator on ds-it went ok I think but was sketchy at times :(

Or 1942/43 if you like shoot'em ups-fun games...

...man just about everything has been re-made one day I'll give you a biger listing :)

you won't be able to play a lot of those games using a ds emulator...

    some good nes games:

    metriod
    bucky o hare
    gremlins 2
    digger t rock
    super turrican
    (most too hard for some)

    genesis:

    all the sonics
    streets of rage 2
    ecco

Emulators for DS aren't very compatible with not as popular games usually.

whats the best SNES emulator for the ds then?

I'm using SNEmulDS and a lot of games have problems...like the adventures of batman and robin, doom, Mario Kart...etc and none of the trainers some of the roms come with work either...i can turn the codes on in the trainer but nothing changes in the game...hopefully theres something better

Why don't you just play them on ZSNES or something. That emulator pretty much runs them all perfectly.

that is the best, but most games require a lot of graphical layer tweaking to even make them playable or not work at all.

the only emulators I really use on the ds are jEnesisDS (Genisis) and Lame boy (GB/GBC) since they have decent compatibilty.

for some reason i hate playing games on my computer (its a laptop), plus I'm rarely ever home so the DS is a lot more reasonable.

well most of the games that i want to play are working out well...i don't need the trainers...the ones that aren't working do have remakes so i can just play those.

I use lameboy and GBA_Exploader and haven't had a problem with them yet...i haven't had a chance to try the genesis one yet

I love the DS game Konami Classic Series - it had some good ol' arcade games like Circus Charlie, Pooyan, Contra, and Gradius with highly customizable options. There's also the Namco one but I don't really like it.

if i'm thinking of the right konami collection game, that game would have been a lot better for me if the controls for the track & field game were more practical...but they are kind of difficult so i resort playing it on my 360
