    Alright, so I recently purchased a Portable Sega Genesis, I am getting a portable SNES, and my brother just bought a portable NES.

    I already have all of the Sonic games in mind for the Sega and I know Mario, Mario, Mario for the SNES/NES. So, what else are some gems for these systems?

    Wait... LOL!

    Your Portable SNES won't be portable anymore if you play the ones on my list that are marked fan translated as you'd need to jam a copier/loader on its cartridge port LOL!

    Copier/Loader -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDJrImptjbs

    Try lugging that around with you.

    Not to be a wet blanket, but if your going to buy the actual cartridges keep in mind some are very rare and may not be worth it to you for the prices especially on older RPGS quite a bit msg listed for SNES are hard to find and some don't exist in the US. (Dragon Quest, Tales of Phantasia, and Terranigma for example) might luck up on egay but as I said may not be worth the price.

    What do mean "before you buy"?

    Could you post pictures of what portables you're talking about, are they just mini console versions that still need the cartridges and TV hook up, or something else?

    Yeah, I wasn't going to spend loads on games. Just some that are really fun, like Mario and Yoshi's Island perhaps if I can find it at a flea market cheap.
    And in order for me to play NTSC-J, I'd have to break some part off of the portable SNES console to play them. :p And I don't wanna do that.

    What I mean is that they have screens and really are fully portable. They can also be hooked up to a TV.

    Yeah, they do look quite odd and the Genesis can't play every game, but the games I want to play and buy work perfectly.
