Hi, I started using Flashget to download stuff from this site. I can't, however, resume downloads from another computer, i.e. ip address. Is there any way to do this or is it not allowed. I'm using a "portable" version of FG btw
chances are you can't because of how download managers work. They save partial files in a temporary directory, often with random names that only the program recognises. In theory if you could copy this entire directory and recreate it identically on another machine while maintaining the index files then it would be possible, but in practice it usually isn't.
Our script does not care about your IP address so long as the download manager sends the cookie info for romulation.
Oh well, i thought it had something to do with your site Does anybody know a download manager that allows you to change the temp directory?
