Im having issues with ePSXe , everytime I try to play Resident Evil 2. It works , but from the Gun Shop part and beyond , it freezes. Im running ePSXe version 1.7.0 with the following plugins; Graphics; Petes Open GL2 Driver 2.9 (which for some reason everytime I start a game with this plugin enabled , it says ''Missing Render Texture Extension!'') Sound; ePSXe SPU core 1.7.0 Cdrom; ePSXe CDR WNT / W2K core 1.7.0
Switch your graphic/video to Soft or D3D plugin. This problem occur when you don't have graphic card with OpenGL support.
Hey , thanks for the reply. But something bad has come up , I downgraded back to ePSXe 1.5.2 , the game works fine in terms of the freezing issue. Only this time , in cutscenes such as the Gun Shop part etc , I cant hear anyone talk. I can hear the music , gun shots , biting , stabbing sounds , and so on. But for some reason I cant hear the Voices of the characters , nor any voices in cutscenes or any sounds in cutscenes. What should I do now? O.O
