    I have absolutely no idea.
Oh and I doubt this is the right section...?

I don't think we're allowed to trade BIOs on these forums, but I'll give you this advice: using google to find the names of the BIOs that the PS2 uses for your region is NOT difficult. Once you know that information, finding a link to that particular BIOs via google is not hard either. Good luck, if it really comes down to it, you can drop me a PM and I'll "help you with your math homework".

Console Bios are illegal, that's why the are not included with the emulators. Nice help there waylonn. Google ones such as scph10000, scph30004r, scph39001. Unsure which is best, I am not into PS2 emulation.

If the emulator is illegal by itself , then why not just throw in the bios?

    Emulators are not considered illegal.

That may be true, but an emulator was meant to play games from a console right? And you need an ISO which is illegal. So why would you make an emulator if you weren't going to emulate anything?

Emulators are used for developing new games... ISOs are only illegal if they are of commercially available games, if they're a homebrew game then they aren't illegal.

But the main idea for them is to allow people to play commercial released games basically.

Or at least for playing out dated discontinued console games like the one for the NES or SNES. I'm just wondering why Nintendo has to stick its nose on discontinued material like that, they won't profit from it anymore anyway :p

    my thoughts exactly.

in fact, as soon as a game is used, when the person returns it and someone else buys it, nintendo or any other company doesn't receive money from that. Just like GM doesn't receive money from used cars. (assuming that the used cars aren't in the GM lot. I'm talking about independent used car dealerships).

Their only argument might be the wiiware with the retro downloads, like Donkey Kong Country or anything similar. (which no one should be buying...)

Still, it is not allowed to be discussed freely.
