Anyone remember that weird cartoon? I would for-go the simpsons just for it-bloody funny XD But, it seems my memory is bad, for you see, when I watched it years ago (with my family, of all things) it was before 9pm, so I always thought it was a family cartoon (even with "buttered toast man") But last year, I found it again-on comody channel-and in dvd sets-rated "M" ??? And when i watch it...I was just thinking... "When the hell were they gay ???" I even have an old comic book, but it's just zanny-ness, not as I once heard..."weird sh*t"! But still...it was funny as hell, if disturbing... So I ask the following... 1.Was this an "adults special" series I saw? 2.Do you remember them? 3.Any shows that are simerlar to it these days? The closest I seen is "cow and chicken" and "I am weasel" which was a spin off from that said show... So...any thoughts, comments, questions, answers ?

Ah yes, rocko's modern life was just as crazy Real monsters was ok, sort of crazy, but if you played along the fact that the monsters were just going about thier business, it wasn't AS crazy...otherwise the humans would not be as scared of them XD
Rocko's Modern Life has been kinda going into a cycle of repeats in Nickelodeon, early in the morning.
Wish I had cable again-alas the cost And my area can't support cable... At least I don't haver to put up with my little brother's excessive watching of the wwe...
really the ren's and stimpy's show was a (little) weird but very funny its been many years that i watched that
The original Ren & Stimpy show was aired on Nickelodeon for about 5 seasons, a few episodes were deemed too "adult oriented " to be shown so they were put in a "vault" for quite a few years then they re-released them on SpikeTV for a while. I have all the DVD box sets of the classic original series and DVD collection that was called "the lost episodes" that was aired on Spike TV I actually watched one episode and believe me when I tell you that its WAY different than what was shown on Nick seems like there were newer episodes made but they didn't go over too well.
That wasn't bad actually. I should have known... That explains why it tied in a little while at the same time seeming as a completly diferent show... Ren and Stimpy was on standard tv years ago-channel 10 for australia. Buttered toast man...the possibly serious part of the whole insane show XD
I never really got into Ren and Stimpy as a kid, think it actually scared me aha. Still does today XD its pretty screwed up man. But i use to watch the ones yous have mentioned Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life and Aahh! Real Monsters. Especially Rocko's Modern Life, love that show so much, Can't stand most of the new crap on TV (cartoon wise).
