Some games on the site aren't able to be downloaded. Ok, that is 100% fine. But, why keep them on the site? I don't think the publishers will just change their mind. If the publisher has asked for the game to be removed from the site, at least make it so the game does not show up in searches. I have been looking for some good SNES games to play on my computer so they run better, but so many times I can't download them. I have been a user on Romulation when we could actually download all the games. I think the website would be a lot better if games we could actually download showed up in searches.
There is an option to just show games that are downloadable. Also regarding the point of removing them, its unneeded work
This is discussed over and over. It is because of the screenshots and comments. Seph has clearly said that in those topics. But I think it is a good idea to not show it in searches...
you can't download the game, but you can still obtain information about the game. there is a search filter to show only downloadable games.
