So I just realized that I have a 1 year license for Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading MSE for something that's 2 years outdated. Are the virus definitions still being updated or have they stopped and moved on with 2013? Also, I can't upgrade to 2013. It's something about how the code is handled that I just can't do it.
If you get a version of kaspersky 2011 it might work, and might still update, but on the other hand it might tell you to upgrade. try it. If it doesn't work a new version isn't that expensive.
Well I tried it, and its latest updated definitions were on 5/2/13. I assume it's safe to use then. And I can't upgrade because the license came with my MOBO CD.
