I went with the wife for a 20 minute (in store) trip to J. C. Penny's for a luggage set..and figured Walmart was across the road. Granted, thsi was about 4;30am..walked in, straight to the video game section. I came across Red Dead Redemption..picked it up for $29 brand new..walked out in about 12 minutes..Thank goodness we weren't like al of those people waiting for the 5 am deals..Going to be soooo perfect..leftovers form Thanksgiving AND Red Dead Redemption. It is extremely disappointing if you do not like riding horses. If you love riding horses, a lot of exposition, and going to a destination, you will love this game. Apparently a lot of people love this.
I've tried a demo of it..I liked it. There will be so much to do in the game. Can't wait to play. Just going to do a little more of this Final Fantasy 5 on SNES (emulator). Then bring on Red Dead Redemption..
I liked it, now I wasn't interested in exploring all that vast open plain...or the scene (I like sci-fi settings). But I gotten the undead nightmare stand alone disc, now Im thinking (despite the cost) to one day get the full game. And I've been messing with the online freeroam, not so much the zombie mode (and that is a brilliant move, THESE ARE THE ZOMBIES WE NEEDED!)
I hated it, alot. Saying I found the game boring is doing it a favour. Get on horse, sand, go into the middle of nowhere, shoot some birds, get off horse, shoot guy/tie him up, stick him on horse, get back on horse, sand, shoot cayote, go back into town, go to jail, take him off horse, mission passed. AND REPEAT.
Thus why I got the undead pack, and ONLY do the zombie over run mode. This is where the $50aud i spent goes
