How do I get fraps to record with Peops Soft GPU Plugin on epxse as Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus both have 100% compatibility with this game. The other GPU's work but this one doesn't.
Screw Fraps and go with a different recorder. Try Hypercam or Camtasia. I remember that Fraps only records a certain way (DirectX?), and I don't recall it doing software emulation.
I just bought a license for Fraps. I can play Abe's Oddysee fine on a standard GPU plugin but I looked on a website and it told me that the best GPU plugin for both Abe games was that one. I use Camtasia Studio to record the PC versions as it exports it in smaller size, but now that I got Fraps I may use that for future videos.
fraps can only record direct3d applications, and because peops soft gpu is software emulation and doesnt use direct3d, fraps cannot record it. you need to use one of pete's dx plugins. besides, you should only use peops soft plugin if you have intel integrated or some other poor graphics chip, or his other plugins dont work.
