(besides Pandora) Ever since Pandora became unavailable for non-residents of the US (and that's been quite a while), I've never encountered a Web Radio service that matched its simplicity and awesomeness. Can anyone recommend me a good one?
I was always a big fan of soma.fm, preferring it to pandora actually back when I was all about internet radio. Various channels and stuff, really wide selection from within the respective genres too. http://www.musicovery.com/ - Musicovery's really good too, probably the closest thing to Pandora out there. Sat around and threw back a few drinks with some chums many times while this just played tunes for us in the background. Really simple to use, you'll get the hang of it. Hrmm... What else... Oh! Have you thought about last.fm? It's actually pretty good in terms of radio, actually. Kinda tried to emulate Pandora. Put in your favorite artist click on their radio channel and it gives you their music and a bunch of bands (with a much larger variety of bands than Pandora has too) that sound like whichever band you picked. And the best part is if you actually scrobble tracks that're on your compy then it bulds a virtual library of your shit, so if you're ever away from your computer but would like to listen to your music on the computer you happen to be at, just load up your page and click on your radio and PRESTO a radio that's all music from your library. Neat.
