Hi, I am looking for another dvd burning program to burn files onto DVDs. I like need it because my hard drive is loaded with pictures and videos from past events. It could be a free one or whatever! 8) Because my main one got messed up some how and it won't work even after I re-installed it.
I'd recommend Gburner. Its a free cd/dvd burner. Not the most advanced around but it gets the job done.
Nero though is alot bigger and unessacary. If your used to nero from previous experience, stick to it (there are ways to get the full one free...) But I would reccomend img burn, while it can't do straight music cd's (it can do mp3 types though) it work well burning games to disc. It's also alot less system intensive. Post Merge: [time]1277770476[/time] Oh and tried g-burner, it has an interesting cd iso compression app in it, but I couldn't work out how to burn normal iso's thru it, not idiot proof it seemed to me
I switched from nero to imgburn... its small and its so helpful. Like when it say. " I noticed you didn't do this or that, so as a friendly program that I am, I generated it for you"... Also, its free and occupies small space in my computer... Maybe my only problem or irritation is when the place is all quiet then the burning is finish, there is a sound to alert you... scare the hell out of me. I put my speaker on loud cause i use Rosetta Stone... Also, i like it when there is something wrong, it shouts: Oh no!
XD I always have my laptop on off I tyhink you can changes those by tinkering with the sounds files or even turn off the noise.
Thread's a few days old now but I found CDBurnerXP does a good free burn, is easy to use, and has a low footprint on your system. I give it to folks at work who need a simple burn prog (yes it's free for companies, unlike a lot of 'freeware'). Does audio disks, data, burns ISOs, with little fuss. Not just for Windows XP - that's just a bad choice of name
get any video convertor, i use it to convert downloaded films so they will play on a normal dvd player
