As the title suggests, I am looking for some DS games that are not cute, bright, bubbly or psychodelic.

Don't get me wrong- I love the crazy happy bright games for my DS, but I also love survival horror, creepy games like Silent Hill and stuff like that.

So far I have got 'Therisia' and 'Dementium: The Ward', but are there any others out there? ;D

    Thanks guys!

Theresia (I think I spelled it wrong) is a kind of point-and-click game, turning out really good and atmospheric so far. :D

One on the DS that I know of is "Nanashi no Game". It's only in japanese, so if you can't read it there isn't much point but it's still scary as hell.

    I love Silent Hill.

A decent Silent Hill title on the DS would be briliant if it was done right. I am enjoying Dementium, but it's not nearly as creepy as the SH series (although I didn't like 4 as much as 1 and 2. It was good, but not nearly as creepy as the others.)

Definately. If it could be done, it would be a dream come true, though.

Fatal Frame could be sweet on the DS too. Althoguh again- it would be hard work and I don't think it's at all likely that it will happen.

    That would be epic!

Also, the touch screen would make sharing ammo a hell of a lot easier.

Theresia is the best creepy game on the DS... You won't find better, sadly. I've been looking for ages and I've only found seven games that could be considered horror... The bolded ones require competant Japanese reading skill, though.

    - Nanashi no Game
    - Theresia
    - Resident Evil Deadly Silence
    - Touch the Dead
    - Dementium the Ward
    - Miteha Ikenai
    - Hayarigami DS

Looks like I may have to learn Japanese. :(

What's Touch the Dead like? The name brings up an interesting mental image...

It's basically House of the Dead, but where you poke the zombies to kill them. If only that really worked...

    *holds stylus in the air*
    "PHEAR TEH STYLUS, UNDEAD FIENDS!!!!!"
*starts chasing the zombies, poking them to death*

    LOL

    So is Theresia that scary?

LOL- yeah, a Stylus to the eye probubly isn't going to be a match for a shotgun, but we can hope....

So far, Theresia is shaping up really well. I have played about 2 hours of it, and it's got really nice audio and the scenes in it are nice and dark. I find it creepy more than scary, but it has caught me off guard a couple of times.
