Ok, I've been so careful avoiding these things...what happened? Activision, turns out little brother downloaded 2 call of duty games. Now what friends on the same isp told me as well as past threads from here, we're safe as its just pre-generated crap, but we deleted the files, my concern is if this escalates... You see my mother rang the isp (which gave her the run around as they had no clue, since its pre-generated garbage) and they're gonna follow it up. Could they really cut off internet for a first time offence I ask, for now brother has removed all offending games (from activision, nothing about his other games he got before) and is restricting internet use...and to be safe I won't be downloading anything for a few months, but could they seriously kill our internet? And if so...can I move to another isp or am I black listed?
You should be okay. Talk to Loony about setting some stuff up to prevent Activision getting your IP and shit.
Ah as I suspected... We won't be downloading anymore activision titles anymore...I can't stand them as it is. I think after a few months I'll take care of downloading...
