Reccommended Retro DS Games

I really like retro games for the DS. These can be remakes of old classics with new stuff or just ports. Can you help by reccommending me some retro games please?

 

Megaman Zero Collection

Just came out and there is a patch in the tech help section.

 

Retro Game Challenge its not really a remake, but the games are very similar to older retro games.

 

Thanks for the suggestions. Do you know of anything shoot em up retro besides Contra 4 and Metal Slug? Preferably obscenely difficult.

 

Big Bang Mini, Bangai-O and Nanostray come to mind at first.

 

Commando Steel Disaster is a really great under rated metal slug type of game. It's really cool, better than Contra 4 in my opinion. Play it on hard.

Bomberman DS 2 is better
because it can use WFC

Sonic Classic Collection, if you liked any of the old Sonic Games.
Also, Ultimate Mortal Kombat is very similar to the classic MKs (though not a remake or port).

 

Actually ultimate mortal combat is kind of both of them. It's MK2 and MK3 with the new puzzle kombat
