hey guys, i bought a DS *multi game* cart from bangladesh, in a week of playing it i diskcovered it was running ttds firmware, but the actaul SD slot is inside the cart itself, as in i have to open my cart up to take out ther sd card. What is this cart and can other firmwares be used on it?
Never heard of that before... I have no clue...could you post pictures of this supposed flashcart please? Like how you have to open it and how it operates on the DS? That would be helpful. And where you bought it from (website).
I think he bought it from a street vendor or a store, otherwise he probably wouldn't have mentioned buying it in Bangladesh because it wouldnt be relevant.
Basically, this is a type of card that you are supposed to be able to order specially preloaded with games of your choice. In short, you aren't supposed to be able to change the games once you get them. They are like prehistoric flash carts in comparison to what you can get today. If you can get the MicroSD out, than congrats, you found the loophole.
You can upload them to http://tinypic.com/ And then right click on the image and click "Copy Image Location". Then on the site, put them in this code: Code: Then just post the address in between the two img codes.
Wow...that's a load of crap if you ask me... :\ That's probably to sucker people into spending all they're money on it and not know about what they can really do.
Can you get a picture of the front of the cartridge that has the label? At the moment though, it is sounding like one of those preloaded cards on the site I have linked to above.
well unforntayly i peeled the sticker off (sorry for that) but i do remember waht it was on it, it was that ace attorneys game picture and over that it said 50 games in 1
Yep, that was a custom 50 in 1 DS cart. You get to have your own custom image as the sticker. At least you know how to get the MicroSD card out though. I would suggest ordering a new card from shoptemp.com eventually though.
i hear you man, im trying to get a m3 ordered, i can also get the gba expansion, but dont these guys into trouble for using TTDS firmware, and im sure of that cus iv updated my kernal a number of times
I would suggest that as well. If you want to play newer games and the such. Plus, those flashcarts probably aren't the best. :\ I'd personally go with AK2i, but it's up to you really.
