Hey guys! Been a while since i played my DS and i have a question: I am a very huge fan of Paper Mario games, and i just found out that a new one came out for the 3DS. I do not have a 3DS, all i have is my DS lite and an Acekard 2i. Now, i understand Acekards cannot load 3D games, but i was wondering if it is possible to run a non-3D version of Paper Mario ROM on my DS LITE using an Acekard. Or would i have to purchase a 3DS and the original game for that? Perhaps a PC version? I really wanna play this new game, but i don't want to pay 400 bucks for it!
No, it's impossible to play any kind of 3DS ROMs. No matter if it's 2D or 3D, or what console, it's impossible to play 3DS ROMs. Your only option is to lash out and buy a 3DS with the game. And I can guarantee if a flashcart does come that can play 3DS ROMs, you won't be able to play then on a DS or DSi. Those consoles simply do not have enough power to run them.
