Read before posting about worms 2

okay, do not ask how to get Worms 2 Open Warfare, instead, download it from the provided link. this version is patched, and trimmed and fully functional. I'm not trying to rant about how many topics on this subject there are, i'm just putting this up save some time for both you, me, and everyone else at romulation.

total file size is 28.5 MB. all you have to do to play this, is copy it onto your microSD like any other ROM.

I really despise MegaUpload.

 

Well everytime I try to download from MegaUpload, I get the megaupload toolbar thing which doesn't work with Mac.

 

Megaupload works fine for me. Sure, it's as slow as hell but it works. I prefer Rapidshare though.

 

i don't know what's the problem with megaupload. if it's slow, then get a download manager. it says it doesn't supports one but it does. and we're a bit off topic.

The speed Megaupload provides depends on whether you are unregistered (slowest), registered (slow) or a premium member (faster). I registered and noticed a small improvement over unregistered speeds.

Dixy - I'm on dialup; if I were on broadband I would upload it for you. All you have to do is open DS Lazy (unzip it and open the application), then find the ROM and click "nds unpack", then open up the folder it unpacks the ROM into and replace the current arm7.bin with the new arm7.bin you downloaded and go back into DSLazy, click "nds packer" and choose a name for your new ROM and it works great.

Works with MySims too.

I downloaded the version in this thread, but it still isn't working. Every time I get to the loading screen to enter a quick game, or campaign etc. it freezes up as the worm falls on the lower screen.

Any ideas?

I'm running off a supercard, with the latest firmware and whatnot.

 

are you using an emulator or the real nds?

 

I went ahead and formatted and there's no difference... I had a suspicion I'd need a new SD card but finances are tight as it is... what's odd is that nothing like this has ever happened to me before, I just finished Pokemon Diamond not long ago and I beat Phantom Hourglass a couple days back. Is there no other alternative to buying a new card?

If I do need a new one, what exactly am I looking for?

i'm not sure, but you could try to get the save to your pc and then get a new microSD.

i searched about the fastest microSD card and i came up to a forum which says the fastest microSD card is a SanDisk Ultra II Mobile microSD 1gb. check this page for the specs.
