Re: games wont play on dsi

Just purchased my Dsi and put my card in from my Dsl and its says no game card inserted. Is there something I need to update or change?

Are you using a DSi or a DSL (Lite)?
What card are you using? If you are using a DSi, what firmware is it at? (Look at the bottom of the top screen).

 

Ya, and he said he was using a DSL five words later.
So which is it, DSi or DSL.

Plus, he can answer the other question, the important one. The firmware level and card type.

 

He took his flashcart out of his DSL and inserted it into his DSi.

 

Sorry, don't know much about this stuff. I'm trying to insert into a new DSI. The card works in my dslite and my old ds. don't know what you mean by firmware. Where would I find that/ Sorry I don't understand all this.

 

Start up your DSi, and look at the bottom of the top screen, there will be a number, 1.3, 1.4, etc.

Your card is the name of the card you are using, R4, Cyclo, Edge, Supercard, which ever.

 

top screen shows l camera and camera r at the bottom. How do I remove those?

Well, your flashcart (the R4 SDHC, that's what they are called) does not support the DSi. And your DSi is at 1.4, so it is anti-Flashcart. You will need a quality flashcart that works with 1.4 DSi in order to use it.

You will want to look into getting an Acekard 2i.

 

Does the ace one use my micro sd card or will I have to get a different card? Where do I find the card?

Acekard uses different files. The best option for it is using a firmware called "AKAIO"
