do you like spore?

 

Yeah, i thought it was good. Like 5 different games in one.

 

The worst part of five different games, all rolled up into one.

I did not like it.

 

I never have played it.
All of my friends rave about it, so it must be shit.

I kinda like Spore Creatures for the DS, but even that lacks...

 

the cell phase was pretty awesome, the rest were pretty much crap.

 

Creatures was one of the '5 games' That made up spore. The creature stage.

 

Oh, so they were actually linked in a way?
And then Spore Heroes or whatever, was the next one?

 

I'm not sure, i haven't played it.

And the third section onwards is just an RTS game, which is a genre I'm not very fond of so yeah Spore was not Spore-tacular

My favourite was the creature stage, because it was like a RPG. I sailed through the RTS stages (tribal and civ) but I did not enjoy the space stage. It was kinda boring. Zoom in, talk, zoom out, click, zoom in, abduct an animal, zoom out again...

 

I liked Spore. I don't really see why people hate it. It didn't live up to expectations? Most games don't.

 

Well did it ever occur to you that different people have different tastes? This applies to gaming too.

I like the first two chapters of the game (Spore) as it was about evolution & had that kill or be killed feel to it. I hated the RTS bits starting from the Civilization section as RTS games & me don't go well together.
