Try using a different USB port or hub. Is there a mode on your phone that it has to be in before it can be connected? My Samsung has to be in "Connect PC" mode to be detected. Have a look.

Maybe there are drivers to be installed. Try going to the Motorola website and searching for a driver for your phone.

I had one of these fine. Are you using the USB or bluetooth? I found that the USB often had problems and it was much eaiser to connect with bluetooth. Also I assume you have your drivers and software set up? the moto phones need a specific software to be installed to use it.

Yes you do need drivers, get the V3 drivers here.

I have owned a Razr V3 before but only for 3 months Almo and I have connected it to my PC but I had the CD with it and then I sold it. On topic. And I didn't create a new post to say so :p And have you ever owned one :p

No you need the drivers, but you also need Mobile Phone Tools as far as I can remember

Anandjones I suggest you dont post in topics you can not truely help with. Unless you do or have owned this type of phone, and have has it connected to the PC then I doubt you are of any use.

Such things tend to work better when plugged directly into the USB ports, i.e not through a hub.
