I've just watched this movie,
even I haven't read its novel yet, the storyline are easy to understand and I hope the next story will come out quickly..
I'll give it 4.5 stars.

A suppose to be an american hero now is multi national heroes. The FX is cool but not made any sense, like a building that blow up only a few meters from the hero without causing any injured to the hero. The story is about a group of top military specialist under a name GI JOE with their enemy a bunch of terrorist COBRA that after a weapon called nanomite.
General Hawk played by Dennis Quaid was not very suitable, cause of his poor acting (different from General Hawk at the animation).
Anyway the director Stephen Sommers seems haven't forgot his past success with The Mummy. Know it or not he place Arnold Vosloo again as Zartan the enemy to Joe's and place their HQ (once again) in a pyramid.
Even Adam Sandler shows up as a cameo who just watching the Joe's at training.
Totally this movies is suitable for people who loved more action than story plot.
So for the stars i give it 3 stars (***).

 

I'm going to give it 4 stars, it actually looks good, and I actually want to see it. A lot of action films this year have flopped, then again, a lot of them were expected too. For some reason, people want to make anime into real life movies (Dragonball, Cowboy Beebop, etc..) and while GI Joe isn't anime, it is something they could ruin none the less. The reason I'd give it 4 is because I like their director, and it just looks like it'll be nice to me

I'm not going to rate it yet because the I still haven't seen the movie itself. It's gonna take a while for it to be here in my place.
