Rar Unzipping

    Got a question. Everytime that I try to unzip a .rar file, WinRAR tells me that the file is corrupt or in an unknown format. Any suggestions?

    Re-download the file you are extracting, maybe it's getting corrupted while still being downloaded.

    Or maybe try upgrading your copy of WinRar, they did release a major update a while back.

    its probably your version of winrar being out of date.

    New here. Got the same issue. It's a server error completing the download too early.
    It's a little frustrating as I paid premium today.

    if the downloads finish prematurely then use a download manager

    Appreciate all of the helpful comments! How would I go about updating WinRAR, especially since i'm using the free version of it?

    Go to the official Winrar website and download the latest software version.
    Install it and its done!
