rar files

    is it true that the program used to extract rar files expires in 40 days???
    i downloaded from a post in the tutorial section

    plz help me

    it should still continue working after it expires if not go get it off the winrar site

    it only nags you after its expired, it doesn't stop working. 7-zip can also open .rar files, and it is free. you can get it from http://www.7-zip.org/

    yeah when it shows you the expired message just close that windowand you can continue.
    alternativly if you a familier with torrents have a look for winrar and i think there is one called winrar proffesional and that one does not come up with the message.

    Or you can use cracks and other stuff, but don't ask or discuss warez here. That is the Evaluation version or the Free version, but it's not freeware as it asks you to Buy the full version, so it's probably Shareware, except there are no limitations.

    so basically even if it keeps bugging me with the message i can keep using it without having to buy it??

    Yes, just exit it and it will still continue. I was so fed up with it eventually I did something to it.
