Hey guys, i have recently ordered an R4i gold and I thought i would get some roms ready while I wait. Some of the roms i download such as Metroid Prime do not unzipp properly from there .RAR file type. Does anyone know if the R4i gold automatically patches RAR files to play on it? No. You need to get winrar. WinRAR turns RAR files into NDS files to play them. Tutorial: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=3880.0 And it wasn't smart to order an R4i, too many clones.
well I did use winRAR and it "failed" at 99 percent of the unzipping. I made sure to buy the R4 off a reliable website, but ill find out when it shows up.
Your download is corrupted, that is why WinRAR is failing to extract the game. Download the file again and use a download manager like FlashGet www.flashget.com
ok thanks, my computer I am currently using isn't exactly up-to-date so alot of problems occur with it.
