I can't remember what anime/manga it was...but there was a particular scene there where a character uttered the words "All love are the same". It got me thinking, is it logical to say that it is?. Since love itself is a venture for personal gratification and purity of intentions never really mattered. Can we really say that "All love are the same?"
I do not believe that all love is the same. There are varying degrees of love between people. The differences in intensity is enough to say that all love is unique. Also there are different things different people love about each other. This also make love unique.
you can say that "love" is all the same because it's the same feeling but love can be uniquely expressed by different people
"Since love itself is a venture for personal gratification..." oh dear Read -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agape http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eros_(concept) There is a little more to love than your statement assumes
im not entirely sure about this...on a technical term then no all love is not the same. But love is not just a term. One can not be told what it feels like to be in love, they have to experience it for themselves (just like an acid trip ), therefore if love itself can not be explained by one person to another then it would be fair to say that love to each person is a truely uniquie experience and that no love is the same.
Alot of people get Love and Infatuation mixed up And I belive 3 kinds of love may be applicable: The 'one' love Family love And Friendship love I don't think love for material items is applicable...
What is love? ... baby don't hurt me... don't hurt me... no more... Ahem: yes, honestly - what exactly is this "love"? I think it's something entirely personal and it becomes whatever you make of it. Sure you could "love" someone you've never met, or you could be together for YEARS and never actually "love" them - who knows? So, no, I don't think that all love is the same, is it's the individuals that make up that love, and, last time I checked, no one is really the same.
