I think it goes by your post count, not the amount of games you download.

Is that the same for stars?

Yes your posting raises your 'level' and stars, just don't go crazy and post a lot of nonsense or spam also anything posted in the random section does not add to your post count.

I wish it were by downloads though... I would have been a championship gamer months ago...

Those topics already exist, in duplicate. We prefer large discussions like that to remain within the existing topics :)

It has to be meaningful post.

Spamming forums leaves a bad rep.

See my post-all on technical help mostly.

I avoid spamming where I can (it's tempting...) and just try to do it right...when I can.

BTW-any post in joke's and forum games don't count-if they did I'd have a million post XD

That's called spamming. We don't approve of that, which is why we used to hide the post count.

of course, you`re right. But don`t you think this "leveling up" system just supports spaming?

well, on the other hand it could be a motivation for someone to post often...to reach this status of a "Champion Gamer" (like Masterkupo`s asking for). It cuts both ways.

Thats why we don't tell people what the boundaries are. if people knew how many posts they had to get to reach a specific rank then they'd spam like hell.
