Ragnarok DS (U) Frozen Game Help

I currently use an R4 with firmware 1.18 english
I am up to the point in the game where Aldo tells you about his past experience with the Dragon. The game always(I tried 5-7 times, same result) freezes when Aldo goes, "Rodia!!!!!" during the warp portal. The game freezes. i tried taking off all my equips along with my other partners(Mage and Shaman)

Help please! I really want to get past this point!
I'm a lvl 30/26-27 thief.

If that doesn't work, turn off any cheats you may have on.
Or try backing up your files, formatting your MicroSD, and reloading the files and try again.

 

Try backing up your stuff and re-format your MicroSD.
If its still freezes try using YSMenu.


Looks like I was too slow.

 

I dont get how YSmenu would help, I did it and DMA was selected, not reset. However, It still didn't work. Still froze at that same spot. I tried reformating it to fat32 and how do i backup my stuff? do i just move them? if thats it then I did all that you wanted me to do, but no work.

 

Try using a faster MicroSD. What brand/class is yours currently?
Did you use any cheats while playing?

 

nope, I see the cheat option, but its not ticked. I'm using "microsd 1 gb Kingston"

BTW, the cheats dont work

 

Try transfering the save file to No$GBA 2.6a and playing it there to see if you can get past the freeze point.

 

lol, I am a tech noob, i can load the game, but the save file is curropted. So i cant load my theif on there

Were you able to put it back on your R4 and play again, or are you stuck using No$GBA now?
