here's my question... How do i get cheats to work on my r4pro? are cheats included when you download a game? please help :-[ it would help alot!
You can get a updated cheat database (usrcheat.dat) from http://cheats.gbatemp.net/ and place it in your 'system' folder. For any issues on cheats not appearing, read the Common issues https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=1462.0 To enable them, there should be a 'Cheat' button on the touchscreen when you highlight a ROM that has cheats in the database.
uhh, i placed the contents of 09_26_09_All.zip in my _system_ folder and it came up with "no cheats found" and when i put it in in the root folder it dosent say anything when i touch Cheat(Y). did i download the right one?
You need the single usrcheat.dat file in the _system_ folder. Otherwise, try using the other databases.
I've heard that if you try to put too many cheats on an R4 they won't display or something. Download R4CCE (if you don't already have it) from http://home.usay.jp/pc/soft_en.html then open your USRCHEAT.DAT with R4CCE & delete any cheats that you don't/won't use.
