I have a "r4i3d new" and got the "3DS V5.1.0-11 NDSi V1.45 Upgrade firmware" from the site of this r4 and I updated my r4 with that upgrade and now when I put the r4 in the DSIXL it says "There is nothing inserted in the game card slot",the r4 does not recognize at all,does someone know how to fix that?
If ever you come back to read this; Your cart is simply blocked from use by your console which likely running v.1.45. To upgrade you need an older console or a new one as long as it meets any of these conditions; if it's a 3DS/3DS XL, it must be below v.4.3.0, if it's DSi/DSi XL, it must be below v.1.4.3, or simplest find an NDS Fhat or NDS Lite since these 2 older generations only has a singular firmware version running on it.
