I've tried using the firmware from the website (r4i3d.com) and I really can't get it functioning and I'm worried I may have bricked it, could someone help me? I just need a list of steps to get it working, any help at all is appreciated. Whenever I start it up it shows a Spongebob icon but when I try it it tells me to turn off the 3DS, thank you.
That indicates your DSi has been updated and your flashcart is now blocked. You need to go to the website of your cart and see if they have released an upgrade patch (firmware not kernel) If there is a patch then you need to run it on a DS console that your cart currently works on. If no upgrade patch then you need to think about purchasing another flashcart.
