After several hours of research and many "kernels & Firmwares " downloaded. there always same error NO_BOOT_LOADER i finally give up and decided to ask for some help who can help me much appreciated. btw im using DSLite
to all my knowledge, the r4i v1.4 went out of production long time ago, means no new firmware/kernel will be updated for it, if you cant use it with the old firmware, means your card is out of date and no longer able to use, you'll need a new card such as r4i gold 3ds rts (http://www.r4flashcart.com/8-wood-r4i-gold-3ds-flashcart-for-3ds-xl-3ds-dsi-and-ds-lite.html its what i use )or r4i original revolution card, if you dont plan to buy dsi/3ds console, the r4i original card is your best bet
