Ok, before you tell me just to press A+B+Y+X+L+R to Reset the cart, I know how to do that and that is not my problem. I bought an R4i SDHC for mainly pokemon games. I would like to get a shiny starter, and I need to be able Soft reset HeartGold to do that. In my Normal Soul Silver game I have for the ds, I just have to press Start+SELECT+L+R to reset the game. when I do the command on my rom it freezes at a white screen. Can any of you guys help me, and see what may be wrong. I have the latest Kernel Firmware V. 1.21 http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp I would just like to know what I am doing wrong, oir if it is even possible to SR a rom on a flash cart.
Soft-reset works on the AK2i like a charm. It's most likely that the firmware needs to be updated by the team, or you need to update yours to the latest.
try updating it again. V1.21 is old....The latest version is V1.23b...lots of issues have been resolved in this update.... http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/indexe.asp
