r4i sd-hc help

i have a dsi version 1.4e. How can i get my r4i sd-hc? (normal version, not gold, or any other type) it doesn't work on my dsi so if there is a way, can somebody please give me a link there?

 

There is a chance it might have a fix. A very small chance.

What website is listed on the box that your R4i SDHC came in?

 

it never had a box, but the website it had on the r4 skin had the website http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/indexe.asp. it does have a download to fix the r4i-sdhc with a 1.4 mark but mine does not have that mark. (and i have tried to download it, then had to format my card because it messed it up).

 

Yours doesn't have the mark, which means it cannot work with the DSi with 1.4 firmware.

There is nothing you can do except purchase a new flashcart. This one, the Acekard 2i, is a good card and not very expensive. And it works with the 1.4 firmware.

He can buy a ds lite.

 

Or he can buy a card that has great quality, and great compatibility, and ditch the R4i.

13 dollars for a new card, that will work on DS, DS Lite, or DSi,
130 dollars for a new DS Lite.

The choice is pretty clear cut, since he already has the DSi. You'd be stupid to buy a new DS Lite just to play games with an outdated flashcart.
