I recently downloaded the R4i RTS 2.6f Kernel download from here: http://www.r4rts.cn/download-en.htm I followed the instructions, and copied the _system_, extendskins, moonmemo, MOONSHL, _DS_MENU.DAT and_DS_MSHL.NDS into the root directory of my micro SD card. Having done that, I put the micro SD card into the DS card and turned on my DS. I selected the R4i icon and it went to a loading screen. The only problem was that the loading screen just stayed and nothing happened. ??? After trying to get it to work using various methods I have given up and would appreciate any advice you can give me. Oh, and when I download firmware from here it works perfectly: http://www.r4i.cn/index-1.htm
sounds like you got the wrong firmware for your card . if www.r4i.cn/index-1.htm work for you then thats your firmware..go there for updates....by the way when you got your r4 whatever one it was check on the box it came with ..there should be a web site on it ....that where you should be getting your firmware
